Professor Hou Dao Hui, present vice president of Guangxi Art Institution, director of CSMES, director of Guangxi Musicians Association, vice president of China National Orchestral Association Guangxi Branch, supervisor in solfeggio, Suona playing and teaching direction. Papers that have been published in provincial or upper leveled magazines are totally more than ten, including ‘Zhuang Boo and the artistic characters of its works’, ‘Research on the wedding music of Yao Suona in 18th,Jinxiu County, Guangxi’. Papers ‘Melody memory training in solfeggio teaching process’ won the first prize in selections of Guangxi academic art teaching papers. His work ‘Home, Zhuang’ (Suona Solo) was selected to win the second composition prize in the fifth Guangxi Music and Dancing Competition. He has experience of performing the Suona solo aboard in places like Canada and Macao and gained a great deal of appreciation by local audiences. In 2007, his inventions, single stringed instrument (peacock shaped B) (completed by his own), and single stringed instrument type A (completed by group work) were granted with appearance design patents by State Intellectual Property Office.
