Wu Shuang, Miao, professor, is also the supervisor of postgraduates in the direction of both ethnomusicology and clarinet performance. Being members of Chinese Academy of Ethnic Music, Chinese Academy of Music Transmission, and Chinese Academy of Clarinet, she also serves as the vice director of music college of Guangxi Art Academy and chairman of music department, with titles such as ‘Outstanding Young Teacher’ of Guangxi Art Academy and ‘Young Core Teacher’.

She’s hosted and taken part in more than 30 programs of provincial and upper leveled academic projects in recent years, and has published more than 20 pieces of academic papers, winning provincial and upper leveled researching and teaching prizes for several times. Papers she has completed as chef editor include ‘Music Questions: Case Study on Musicology’, ‘Lush Album’, ‘Explanations on the Musical Culture of Lingnan Ethnics’, ‘Research on Guangxi Music Culture Industry’, ‘Research on Lingnan Music Culture’ ( vice editor). She also wrote ‘Grand Song of Dong Minority’ and ‘Napo Zhuang Folks Song’ in collaboration.
